Thailand Develops the Ideal Formula for Condominium Development

Survey results revealed that 81% of respondents identified location as the primary characteristic of an ideal condominium.
Above all, the majority of those surveyed believe the building should be conveniently located—close to public transport stops or major roads, offices, or educational institutions.
65% of respondents cited an affordable price as another factor influencing their purchasing decision. 84% highlighted the importance of the project being situated near green spaces for recreation. 79% emphasized the need for on-site sports facilities and a swimming pool to support a healthy lifestyle.
Around 40% of respondents value energy efficiency. In their view, a quality project should incorporate features such as electric vehicle charging stations, solar panels, and other modern solutions.
A sixth factor influencing the decision to buy is the building's style and design.
Currently, one-bedroom units are the most popular choice. Research shows that many condominium residents work from home—particularly members of Generation Z—and require a multi-purpose space that can be converted into a home office.
Consequently, experts recommend that developers focus on attractive design and incorporate amenities such as yoga areas, outdoor co-working spaces, sports facilities, and running tracks. This represents a successful new formula that meets the needs of residents seeking to maximize the utility of their homes for a comfortable lifestyle.
