The King's Day in Thailand

On 28 July, the Kingdom of Thailand celebrates the birthday of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn (Rama X).

On this special day, the entire country is adorned in yellow, the color associated with the King. Streets are decorated with national flags and portraits of the monarch, while the Thai people express their respect, loyalty, and heartfelt wishes for His Majesty.

Buddhist Holidays

The celebrations are followed by two of Thailand's most important Buddhist holidays — Asanha Bucha and Khao Phansa. These meaningful occasions reflect the country's spiritual values, centuries-old traditions, and the deep connection between the Thai people, their culture, and Buddhism.
